The scope was the repairs of the three diesel generators Daihatsu Anquing - 6DK-20.

Main journals No.1,4 & 7 found with pitting & intense scratches which were polished away as much as permissible and possible. We used sandpapers of grade 100 up to 600.(STD:170mm).

Cylinder covers No.1 & 6 were overhauled and tested.

Air distributor was repaired. Starting valves were inspected also.

Gear of crankshaft (flywheel side) was worn and we recommend to be replaced. 

Piston grooves No.1 & No.6  were inspected and found acceptable.

Connecting rod big end bearings No.1 & No.6 were inspected and found acceptable.

Piston pins and bush clearance No.1 & No.6 were inspected and found acceptable.

Liners No.1 & No.6 were inspected and Honing was carried out. 

Thorough cleaning of sump tank carried out and all outfitting installation carried out. 

Lub Oil filters were cleaned prior to running test.

Test was carried out with 450KW load with satisfactory results.

Air distributor was repaired.
